I found this interview with the Voyager cast when I visited a website I haven't visited for some time. OK, I've read it before but had almost forgotten it. It's done with the entire cast between seasons 2 and 3.

Also totally agreed with Ethan here:
Phillips: We need to phase out the Kazons a little bit. They're not very exciting.
Phillips: I think we should send the Kazon back to the Gamma Quadrant.
Picardo: Really, other than their hair, the Kazons aren't too scary.

Also I love how Kate brings seriousness and class to this conversation.

How ironic is this? Haha
Picardo: Once we get a great villain, like The Next Generation has with the Borg, things will get much more exciting.

That was a great 'Throwback Thursday' article to read. Thanks for posting. And ya, I agree with Captain Kathryn above (and Ethan) - I was never a big fan of the Kazon - or at the very least how much they were used in the beginning - and would have been glad to see them depart sooner.

Great interview. I like Beltran's optimism re: Star Trek fans being open-minded, even if my own experience with fandom here has taught me some can be quite the opposite most of the time.

I never saw any problem with them. I can see they wanted more thuggy ferals to show us the DQ wasn't as classy as the AQ

Jennifer Lien's comments here are spare but well spoken. A symmetry, I suppose, with what we know about her utterances concerning her character and the show, during its run and afterwards. Well, perhaps the well spoken description wouldn't apply quite so much to her convention appearances. In the main.
