Alright basically a semi-hard reboot of star trek.

850,000 years ago a silicon based race called the founders discover primitive humans.

Not wishing to obstruct the path of human evolution begin abducting small populations of humans at different intervals, spreading different subspecies on parallel evolutions across the near galaxy.

In 2063 Zephrane Cochrane developing a new form of radio telescope discovers life hiding on the edge of the solar system.

As per founder law the prime directive does not allow for any children of the earth to interact with humans.

In an effort to discover this life the united planetary federation sends a mission to the edge of the solar system to seek out new life.

Still, nice idea putting it in fanfiction. Its a great way to demonstrate what you're talking about.

One thing: just go ahead and start writing a story. Timelines and Outlines are boring to read.

Meh its the part I like lolz. I have little interest in actually writing stories. I.e. dialogue etc.

I like developing settings/arcs etc.

Actually writing properly takes way to much skill for me to be doing it.

I'm gonna describe the setting in bullets.

So is this "new life" the silicon-based species or one of the human subspecies (by that do you mean the Neanderthals, homo habilis or other stages along the human evolutionary path?)? If the latter, where at the edge of our system, well outside the habitable zone, would they be? Pluto? Space station?
