Spoilers Stargazer Comic

Holy shit. I want to read this, but not for $5 per issue. I'll read someone else's summary.

Thank God I don't read Batman anymore. I'd be spending $100 per month just to keep up with everything. Not an exaggeration.

I like the fact there's a scene where Picard is back at his Chateau only to be told again his place isn't back at the Chateau. I mean take the hint and sell up Jean Luc or at least outsource. Grapes aren't for you!

Visually the comic tries to walk a line between lineart and something more painterly and it doesn't really pull it off. Sometimes the characters have overly cautious brush strokes to define their features and sometimes it's just eyes and a mouth on a splotch of colour. Not a deal breaker though.

I approve of their choice of Captain for the Stargazer.

I hope they haven’t offboarded much important information to this comic. Regardless, I’ll track it down soon.

Terry didn't even know they were making the comic, so I doubt it has anything you need to know for Season 3.

Between the comic itself and the trailer that just dropped, it looks like this is the story where they're going to resolve Seven's conflict about joining Starfleet over the Rangers.

Tried this one. Interesting, but too short for its price. Most of them are anyway, in my opinion.
And now I know why I found Seven of Nine's characterization so jarring - it's between seasons 2 and 3 of a show I haven't watched so I've likely missed a lot of character development. Any recommendations of comics to read that might fill in those gaps? I have Countdown, then jumped to this one because it was in my amazon recommendations and searching in the Kindle Store can be a pain when I don't know what to look for.
