Stargate Atlantic Approach & The Dark Knight approach

I think Star Trek will take the Star Gate Atlantis Approach, of allowing humanity to commit mass genocide. Especially if they hire the same writers, it tends to be the only possibility when fighting enemies that outnumber 1 million to one.

As for Dark Knight, that entire batman series was an alternative world, a what if", in that version Batman was hooked on hard drugs etc.. Now it kind of just deems like its the natural progression.

Stargate Atlantis does not work. In the Stargate Universe, there is one major power per galaxy for the most part. And the humans started out not knowing anything while cribbing ancient technology. Incidently Stargate is kinda ripe for a Halo or Mass Effect style game

Star Trek is way farther along. A lot more powers about and the humans are not noobs

That made no sense. I really didn't understand what the OP ment with the entire Dark Knight/drugs thing. What?

I thought Stargate Atlantis was OK. Good characters and in fact a really good enemy, The Wraith. Stargate SG1 was OK too.

But none of them can be compared to Star Trek which simply has better characters and a better premise overall.

Then of course, we have Stargate Universe.....:barf2:

I had an idea about having a mad 24th century Captain appear in orbit around Earth in the Early 21st century with a Galaxy Class Starship and start kidnapping the locals to make up his new crew with a transporter beam. The Captain basically stole the starship without crew and went back in time with it. Most of the characters in this scenario are 21st century characters, but a starship like the Enterprise D would probably be easier to learn to operate than something from the 23rd century, chiefly because it has holodecks and holodeck training programs like Starfleet academy and other ways to bring the new crew up to speed.

~Pets the Unicorn~

Genocide? We already got that in the first JJ film, so, I think everyone's had their fill.
