I was watching this video. The instructor suggests making a mashup of one's photo references (One of his students chopped the wheels off an armored personnel carrier. The result looked like something out of Star Wars!

I saw that and thought, "I can do THAT!" I thought it would be fun to play with the Starfleet Marines' tech. I created a SF Marine rapid assault ship.
