Where do you get Picard going back to 1945 as the start date for the star dates? It's consistent with TNG.

2364=41xxx
2401=78xxx
37 years between 2364 and 2401
37 years between 41 and 78

Someone's math wasn't mathing if they thought the start went back to 1945.
