Spoilers Star Wars Resistance Season One discussion

Given that the next movies are likely to tread that ground, a better hope might be for an honest to goodness OT-era show, starring Luke, Leia, Han, Wedge, etc. Shadows of the Empire, anyone? :p
Pass. Like I said, I'd rather it not be constrained by having to fit in between the movies somewhere, at least not within a year or two window. Plus SotE wasn't a very good story.

Honestly, it seems Old Republic is the logical choice. I mean it covers a period of millennia so even if there are other OR projects in the works they could still be generations apart and thus not have to worry too much about stepping on each other's toes.
I suppose they could do something post Bane/pre-TPM, but what would the hook be? Young, or slightly less ancient Yoda? I'm not sure a lot of people would go for that.

I doubt they'll get to that anytime soon since it'll have to involve Filloni and his schedule doesn't seem to be getting any lighter. Indeed if anything it looks like he's being groomed to direct some live action movies of his own, so he may not be head of animation forever.

It’s a story that absolutely demands a follow-up. Perhaps if he’s going to direct a live-action SW film, it might be this story. Seeing Thrawn in live action? That’d be something!

At the same time, it likely won’t happen. It’s a fairly niche idea. And if Solo failed like it did, well...
