I can't see them playing the Ahsoka card this early on. That's the kind of thing you save for season 3 once the main characters have all settled into their roles. Plus, I can't see Ahsoka being a good fit for the role. Fulcrum appears to be someone with a lot of high level access to Imperial information, but unable to act openly or directly. That means a government official or some highly placed bureaucrat or mid-level facilitator.
Bail and Mr. "Senator in Exile" person (who I'm already putting money on turning out to be a double agent for Palpatine) seem too obvious for my money. That leaves only a few possible candidates (assuming Fulcrum is an established character) of which, to be Leia would be the most interesting.
If Ahsoka's still out there, she's likely sticking to the shadowy corners of the underworld, not walking the halls of power.
Oh and you don't need crazy hearing abilities to know who voiced Ezra's mother. Kath Soucie (who also voiced Minister Maketh Tua in this episode) is credited with the roll. Out of interest, she's previously voiced a handful of characters in TCW including Mon Mothma, Senator Bonteri. Obviously "Mira" can't be either of those so she's probably a new character (assuming the father was indeed a clone.)
Come to think of it, were there any prominent (non-elderly librarian) human female Jedi in TCW? I can't think of a single one!
That name "Mira" jumped out at me as being close to Mara (Jade?) but then I remembered that there's already been a Jedi called Mira in KotOR 2. Probably a coincidence....but perhaps not?
Also; I thought the data disc Ezra found looked familiar and
it looks like I was right. Neat. That makes two (possible) Star Wars video game references in one episode. Bonus points for the very similar context.
