Star Wars Rebels Season One (spoilers)

I'd still lean towards Ashoka only due to the fact that the voice when processed sounds awfully close to Ashley Eckstein's portrayal of the character. I suppose there's a chance we'll find out given the preview for next week showing a corvette that we know Fulcrum gets around in.

Even if that's her voice, it's entirely possible that they hired Ashley Eckstein to voice a part other than Ahsoka. Either as some intentional misdirection, and/or just because she's a good actress who's right for the role and they want to work with her again.

But yeah, one way or another I don't think this will by a mystery for much longer.

looking back on it, now the mother is the obvious answer. they've been talking up his parents the entire damn season. But I'd be infinitely more excited if it was Ahsoka.

I've no doubt at least one of his parents are bound to crop up, but for me it seems like too much of a co-incidence that Ezra would just so happen to be taken in by one of Fulcrum's operatives. Yeah, yeah I know: "will of the force" and all that. But still....

Unless of course it's not a coincidence and Hera knew who and where he was all along. Hmm.

(Unless it's, like, Ezra's mother or something.)

In "Gathering Forces", when Tseebo leaves the Ghost. Hera asks him to reveal what happened to Ezra's parents and states that she'd tell Ezra. But in subsequent episodes, Ezra still doesn't seems to know whether his parents are alive or not.

Maybe if Fulcrum is Ezra's mother and Tseebo revealed this to her, she completely changed her mind about revealing this to Ezra.

Her line in "Vision of Hope" seems to imply that she knows what happened to them. She doesn't outright say that Ezra's parents are dead. "They're not gone, Trayvis .... As long as we fight, all that they spoke out for lives on."

It seems pretty clear now that Fulcrum is Ahsoka. If that is indeed the case, then she likely knows that Anakin and Vader are one in the same. I would assume that at some point Obiwan and Yoda reached out to her and probably is the only other person other than Bail and his wife and Owen and Beru that know about Luke and Lea. It would be interesting to see Ahsoka as the Jedi leader of a rising Rebel Alliance and Vader leading the Empire. I hope we see a Vader Ahsoka showdown.

Was that Fulcrum's unfiltered voice around the :40ish mark?
Yes.

I'm not convinced of that. Yes, it came directly after "This is Fulcrum" and over a shot of her hologram, but that doesn't prove anything. Trailers juxtapose separate scenes and images all the time.

I think it very much is Fulcrum and I believe 100% that Fulcrum is Ahsoka.
Take this clip from Clone Wars, the voice sounds very similar. The voice of Fulcrum sounds like an older Ahsoka, I recognized it instantly.

The reason I'm skeptical is that it didn't sound like Ashley Eckstein at all to me. And I wanted it to, so I don't think I'm biased by what I'd like to hear.

At the very, very end of a few of the trailers, it appears Vadar might be in the episode too!

Anyone else get the feeling that Kanan might not make it out alive?

Just a feeling I have. If it does happen, then I think Vader will be the one who kills him. They shouldn't involve Vader too much and letting the Rebels win, it cheapens him. Dealings with Vader should always have grave consequences.

He'd likely survive since Freddie Prinze has mentioned on twitter about recording episodes for season 2.

As much as I've enjoyed watching the episodes a week early On Demand, I'm glad that we're all going to get the finale at the same time.

Discussion in this thread has been a mess all season long. I feel like we haven't been able to experience and fully talk about most of the episodes together, at the same time, at any point in this series. In the old Clone Wars thread, after Saturday morning, we could openly speculate on or analyze the storylines, flip out over surprising revelations, and generally like/dislike developments on the show without fear of spoiling or ruining things for others. And that led to a much more robust discussion thread than this one has been, sad to say.

So, next week, it'll be extremely gratifying to come to this thread after we've ALL seen the finale, kick back, and blather -- at length -- about how much we loved/hated the show and how disappointed we all are that Fulcrum turned out to be a bionically-resurrected Padme.

Honestly I'm wondering if the Inquisitor is getting killed off.
