For me it's all about season and mood. Either Star Trek or Star Wars will pretty much rule my passions depending on which side of the solar system I am currently on. I'm currently in the early phase of the annual Trek fest. It should get me through the summer, but by fall I'll have the Star Wars munchies again. Of course there are tons of little distractions throughout any year, both new and old.
