Star Wars New Jedi Order: How Long Should It Have Been?

After reading through the chore that was "Balance Point" (ugh that book was sooooo slow) I'm now onto the Edge of Victory duology. This is more like it! I'm really enjoying this first book of the duology so far.

Yeah, I think Edge of Victory is when the series really began to shine, after a slow start with the first few books.

James Luceno is right up there in terms of my favorite Star Wars novelists. He seems to get the universe and know how to handle the characters as well. His books are normally well paced as well.

Agreed. Luceno and his former writing partner, the late, great Brian Daley were/are among the best. The SW best comic writer was the late, great Archie Goodwin.

Speaking of the comics and NJO, did anyone pick up the NJO-era "Invasion" series? I might've picked it up if the story had been released while NJO had been a going concern, but I really had no interest in going back to that era so long after the NJO series ended.

I've been picking up Invasion. It's okay. Good enough for me to keep picking it up anyway. It's not KotOR or Legacy good, but it's better than Rebellion or Dark Times.
