STAR WARS: LEGACY to end with issue #50

Even if the name dies with Cade (hypothetically), the bloodline will live on through the Fels. Unless something happened to Roan and/or Marasiah in "War," in which case DON'T TELL ME! :klingon:

well cade does have a half sister she may take the name. all so can't cade and blue have kids?

Gunner Yage? She's Cade's half-sister, yeah, but not paternally. She's not a Skywalker.

And we don't know if Cade and Blue can have children, since they're of different species. Star Wars seems to be a little better than Star Trek about interspecies breeding, but you never know.

I'm assuming that Delilah and Cade can have children...there is the Force to consider in this matter as well. In Star Wars it seems to be that if the Force "wills" something to happen where it concerns Jedi or even the Sith, then it will be done. In other words if it is their destiny to procreate it will happen. It'd be an interesting story for sure. I can't imagine Cade as a father at this point. I think Delilah was an understated character in the book. I didn't like her at first but eventually throughout the series she grew on me. The big three in this book: Cade, Blue, and Syn could be incredibly fun at times.

I think you're jumping the gun a bit. Jag and Jaina haven't married or had children. It's possible that Jag might marry someone else, or a later Fel marries a Jedi or a Force sensitive. Though I think Jaina will be the one that introduces midichlorians into the Fel bloodline, it hasn't been made official yet.

Cade had an uncle with children, so he may not be the last Skywalker.
Both of Nat Skywalker's children were adopted.

Of course it hasn't been made official, but it's the obvious route, and the obvious route are what Del Rey are best at taking.

My instinct tells me that Cade was supposed to go with Sia but once the order came down to end the series, they went to two different lovers, which in a way worked out better, it wasn't as cliche. I think Blue was probably understated because she wasn't meant to be Cade's main love. Look at how much development Jarael got in Knights of the Old Republic got in comparison. Granted its two different creative teams, but it seemed to me that Jarael was set up to be Zayne's main girl all along or far longer than Blue was for Cade, so she got development accordingly. I do agree that Cade, Syn, and Blue made a great trio.

Jag and Jaina would also be the most sensible thing, and when is the last time Del Rey has been noted for being sensible in their creative decision making?

Skywalkers do have a tendency to show up unexpectedly. Just when you think they've all died out, a new Skywalker suddenly pops out of nowhere...

I just blazed through to the end of Legacy War. A satisfying conclusion, though some things felt a little rushed;
the final climactic fight between Cade and Krayt was way too fast. One second he's down, the next he kills him? WAY too easy. And the cloned Sith troopers contributed very little in the end.

The biggest disappointment for me as far as Legacy is concerned is that they went out of their way to introduce R2-D2 into the cast and then did absolutely nothing with him.

Artoo served as the continuing witness of major events since Episode I. Other than that, he helped keep the Mynock spaceworthy with Blue.

There is not a lot you canddo with him in a comic that would not drag down the series.
