Star Wars Fate of the Jedi Theory

NO SPOILERS FOR BOOK TWO PLEASE! If so please put them in code.
SPOILERS FOR BOOK ONE ONLY

So I'm re-reading Book One of the new series Fate of the Jedi in preparation for getting the second book from the library hopefully soon. And I think I sussed out the mystery of the mind-altered Jedi and the mysterious baddie.

In the opening chapter right before Valin goes nuts, he reminisces about his childhood away from his family in the Vong War. Later, someone mentions that how during the Vong War when the kids were kept in the Maw Installation, they cried a lot at night, and that Jedi always feel uneased when around black holes which are a cessation of life.

When Allana is on Kessel, in view of the Maw, she hears a sad creepy voice calling to her from the moon. There's mysterious alien crypts all over Kessel, not to mention it being a massive super computer created by the Celestials that self-destructed after Centerpoint was destroyed.

The opening scene of the book talks about a woman in "the darkness was eternal, all powerful, and unchangeable... but change would take place. The Force said so".

So my theory: the ultimate Big Bad of this series will be stuck in the Maw black hole, imprisoned there by the Celestials ages ago. While the young Jedi were in the Maw her mind reached out to them and formed a connection. Now, she is slowly altering every young Jedi to her ends to facilitate her escape.

Wasn't one of the horrible Bantam books about a black hole creature? The Crystal Star or something?
