Star Wars: Episode VII: The Nerd Rage Awakens

What's wrong with another dessert planet and ice planet? I mean, we see a gazillion Earth-like planets anyway, is it so odd to asume that there are more dessertplanets and ice-planets?

I honest to God don't get complaints like that..... Bad acting, writing, directing, editing. Sure, complain about that. But 'oh, it's an ice planet, they already did that. Lame movie.'???

Right.....

I think I'll just do something weird and leave both my good and bad points untill I've actually seen the movie. I know, outlandish, how dare I wait and judge something untill AFTER I've experienced it....

Dessert planets are a great idea. Tiramisu planets, fondue planets, ice cream planets, chocolate planets, bring 'em on.

Ah yes, back when you could only watch a trailer about 5 seconds at a time, if you were impatient for it to fully load first.

I'd start loading a trailer, go downstairs to make a coffee, do some other crap and then come back up to watch it, hopefully uninterrupted!

Hold on, guys. I'll read your posts, but right now I'm using my America Online Free Minutes disc to download a photo of Jeri Ryan.

I'll get back with you in about an hour.

I think the ice planet might be Illum.

In both TCW and other EU stuff, it's portrayed as sort of having some kind of mystical connection to ancient Force users. It seems like the kind of place that, if Ren is looking for some ancient Sith artifact (like the uber sword), it would good be a good place to start.

Isolated trailer music score now on Youtube!

FUCKING GLORIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Already ripped to mp3 for me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Interesting that they used an uplifting reprise of 'Leia's Theme' for the nostalgic/heroic parts of the trailer before shifting into a heavy percussive take on 'Luke's Theme/The Force' when the bad guys show up. Similar to how in the prequels they incorporated the melody of 'The Imperial March' into 'Anakin's Theme'.
So far I've managed to avoid spoilers and plot leaks, but I have a sneaking suspicion at where this might be going...

Spoiler-Free Speculation:

So I was staring at my Funko Pop Rey figure today... and I noticed that the ends of her long staff look like lightsabers! How much you wanna bet she has two smuggled into that staff she always carries around that she breaks out when she's attacked... because she's secretly a Jedi! And the daughter of Han and Leia! I just don't know why she would be scavenging on a dead end world though... unless she's just running away from her destiny and heritage.

The Kyber crystal would be perfect and I had thought of it before, but I doubt if they'd go in that direction.
