It's definitely not the subtitle we were looking for.
It's the title we deserve but not the one...no, that's wrong too.
My reading of BTS on both trilogies as well as the recent fiasco that was the Hobbit trilogy really strikes me that art does well with limitations. There is not always the budget, or time, to do exactly what the production team wants to do. But, that forces you to often think of creative solutions to accomplish your project.
The blasters in Star Wars? WW2 era surplus redressed and firing blanks as the stormtroopers shot. Lightsabers were just a camera flash tube with greebles that was build that way because it was cheap.
The PT was really a lesson in both excess, and in the process of aging. Lucas, when he wrote the OT, was still young, wide eyed and wanting adventure and to show the excitement of going to space, a la, Flash Gordon. He wanted it to be that adventure and incredible world that he enjoyed.
PT was less of the wide-eyed excitement, and more trying to do what he has thought would be cool, but with newer toys. It all looks really pretty, but there isn't that sense of realness of the world.
I think GL has some great ideas and concepts and world building ideas, but works best with a team of creators to bring it to life. And I think that means being limited as well.

I personally feel the original ST TV series is a classic example of the same principle.
It was about the writing, the stories, the ideas and the characters. Money, schedules and tech limited just how much "flash" they could have and the show is a cult classic and pop culture icon for it.

Yeah, I'd like to think I'm open-minded about the Star Wars universe and the titles used for the filmed and written stories, but for a movie Episode title that one would suck.

I also think 'A New Hope' sucks- if that was the original title when the movie first released I would have probably skipped it.

The blasters are funny to, because I have replicas at my work of the broom handle pistol that was the base for Han's blaster. Lot's of fun there
More to the point is it speaks to George's frame of mind with the original Star Wars and with the PT.

Qui-Gonn's communicator in TPM was a reused razor, so his frame was the same on the prequels as well.
