So, that's the second time today, I've seen time frame in Star Wars Universe expressed as ABY. What's that stand for/mean?

The Star Wars Books Facebook page had three art samples from Jason Fry's The Essential Guide to Warfare yesterday. The pictures were of the following:

-An Imperial World Devastator from Dark Empire which looked absolutely fantastic
-Tie fighter pilot POV during a major battle
-An Ancient battle between the Rakatans and Killiks

They were all pretty awesome and pumped me up even more for the book. It is going to be worth the wait.

Is it just me or did this book completely forget about the Mandalore who held the title during the events of the first KOTOR game?

I'm still very early in Revan, but that Taung Mandalore didn't have the Mask, so he can be ignored as nothing more than a pretender.

I feel so bad for that guy. Wookieepedia calls him "Unidentified Mandalore". He should probably be called Mandalore the Illegitimate.

don't forget we got STAR WARS: SHADOW GAMES coming out on Nov. 29, 2011 and that will be the last book of the year.

How do you have the blue print coffee table book? It's like 450 bucks!!!

There are five more Essential Guide to Warfare concept art pieces on the facebook page. I really can't wait for this book. It's my most anticipated Star Wars book of 2012.
