issue 1 came out this week with legacy war #2 just finished the lost command loved it . early empire rules since the tv series will not happen also picked up knight errant pb. and clone wars tonight to so I am happy about that .:rommie::guffaw::lol::drool::drool::drool::rofl: and we need more old republic novels and early empire stuff out there. not just luke, han, leia I mean I love those guys but there is more of star wars than them and the lost command proves it.

I read this yesterday and quite enjoyed it. Nice to see a Vader-centric book that actually focuses on Vader. I'll be buying this. Both the writing and art were nice. Interesting to see Anakin still holding onto Padme as a source of strength.

I liked that to also we are now on issue #4. I am loveing every minute of this book.
fantastic art and writing. I hope they do a follow up on this series once it's over.

Have you read the 2005 novel The Rise of Darth Vader? That novel takes place immediately after Episode III and spends a good deal of the story of Vader's struggle to adjust to his new life in the suit and his final purging of his Anakin side.

I no longer remember exact details, it WAS five years ago after all, but I do remember that I enjoyed it.

^James Luceno novel. I enjoyed it but remember by being disappointed too because of over hype.

I've not read subsequent issues of Lost Command since the first. Kind of dropped it but might pick it up when it's collected from the library.

Sounds promising, how long is it rumored to go? I will hold out for the trade paperback if so.

timothy please stop posting what you're reading or watching at the end of your post. If you want to do that include it in your signature like other members do that. It just confuses your posts even more.

vader's lost command and legacy's war finale issues are out, who's picking them up this week all so we have a new series dark jedi.

I hope they will continue the story arc of vader early history. and don't forget we have a new series dark jedi that has started as well.
