That's pretty funny, since Season Two was "Rise of the Bounty Hunters" but they only appeared in the opening arc and then the last two episodes![]()

The prequels show that the transition from Republic to Empire was not a hostile one, in that the government was not taken by force. Power was given to the Chancellor willingly and he reorganized the Republic into the First Galactic Empire. But I've often wondered how he went about explaining the dead younglings. I think even those in favor of the Empire would have a hard time trying to justify that. My guess...Palpatine said that he tried to save the Jedi younglings but the Jedi killed them in a last act of villainy. The proof is that they had lightsaber burns on them.
