Finally! A business I can get behind that has as many issues as I do!
Probably just COVID-19 troubles. (Although seeing as they're leaving their hardcover reprints of the Star Wars stuff incomplete...)
Sunk cost fallacy is a hell of a thing.Wow, there's commitment. "I didn't like the previous three books, but I'll keep reading hoping this one is good."
There's a very good reason. You just don't like it.I've generally liked the three newer Thrawn books, although they aren't the most memorable. The partial exception toenjoying them is the (second?) one, which is partially a really shitty Padme Amidala novel shoved into a Thrawn novel for literally no reason.

So, Tuskin was right.not one of the worst prequel characters.
So I was right. There is literally no reason. You can remove it and it wouldn't hurt the story at all. There is no place for Padme Amidala in a Thrawn story, there is barely a justification for Anakin. If she has to be in there, she should be a side character, and not get whole sections about her. I read the book because it was supposed to be about Thrawn, not one of the worst prequel characters.
