The podrace is longer in the BD, isn't it? It's been a while since I've watched it any other way.

I'm always a bit iffy about buying second hand discs. You never really know if something's wrong with them.

^ Good point. Whenever I buy secondhand, I watch everything within the return period (seven days or whatever the store policy is) to make sure nothing's wrong. But that can wear you out if it's a whole set of movies, or a TV season.

Heh. In March, my girlfriend got me season 1 of TNG Bluray, and I bought the rest myself. Just started season 6. I'm so hoping I'm not gonna stumble on a faulty disc

I know it's longer in the DVD.

The DVD and Blu-ray both have the same cut of the podrace. (ie: Longer than the theatrical cut.)
