Star Trek's 10 Cheesiest Classic Creatures

We can laugh today but, for the time they were in, most TOS monsters were ground breaking..Early work by Wah Chang and Janos Prohaska was also featured in the original Outer Limits TV show of the early 60's (some of those were so considered so horrible at the time several stations actually ran a blank screen during the monster sequences!) We can now laugh at those men making and performing in those rubber suits but we do owe them a lot today..

I submit to you:

Worf's pet targ.

Yeah, I felt sorry for the poor pot-bellied pig that had to play that. My cousin had one of them as a pet and they are really quite sweet creatures.

The friendly Angel was bad, simply because everyone knows lawyers are evil, destructive monsters. Talk about casting to type and killing the suspense.

I'm going with our Catspaw friends (now with PIC) for most cheesy. They look like what I hoped for when I got Sea Monkeys as a child. :alienblush:

Hands down! No Contest! The weirdest; stangest creatures ever! Tiny feahter and scrap paper straw people! Whoah! That actually frightened when I first saw that on Nick at Night in like 1986 or so.
