Star Trek's 10 Cheesiest Classic Creatures

I submit to you:

Worf's pet targ.

Yeah, I felt sorry for the poor pot-bellied pig that had to play that. My cousin had one of them as a pet and they are really quite sweet creatures.

The friendly Angel was bad, simply because everyone knows lawyers are evil, destructive monsters. Talk about casting to type and killing the suspense.

I'm going with our Catspaw friends (now with PIC) for most cheesy. They look like what I hoped for when I got Sea Monkeys as a child. :alienblush:

^Yeah, I forgot about those guys. They were just freakin' weird. Although, you must admit that they were definitely very unique.

Another vote for the TOS Gorn here. It's easily one of the most fake looking aliens on the show. And it had an even sillier voice.

Lot of candidates for the all-time cheesiest have already been picked. How about the Horta? Looked like an overgrown Chicago Deep Dish pizza to me! Also, the pre-CGI Tholian looked pretty crappy. -- RR

You're forgetting that Voyager episode where the immortal line was uttered: "Get the cheese to Sickbay."

You can't get any cheesier than that!

May Janos Prohaska come back to haunt you.

Truth is, the Horta scared the crap out of me when I was eight years old and watching Trek the first time around.

Gotta go with the rock creature (Excaliban?) from The Savage Curtain.
Excalbian (also Janos.)

Most of the creatures in the original star trek were cheesy but my all time favorite for cheesiest goes to the creature in "Devil in the Dark" A couple guys crawling with a big rug draped over them. Now that's REALLY scary.

I gotta go with this Herbert - lawyers playing aliens, indeed...

...mmph, and they made fun of Spock's ears. Hey I never noticed the egg on the Doc's cloak before

Thanks to TrekCore for the grabs

I never noticed how much his ears look like a horrible molding accident occurred when they were making Spocks. Or the eggbert on his shoulder.

They had some major LSD inspired fabrics back in the sixties. You can't get fabric like that anymore.

:guffaw: :guffaw: To that whole post.

Oh yeah, early TNG Ferengis -- ugh

Oh yeah, and let's not forget the guy in ST6: TUC on the left who looks like he just enjoyed a good crap in his pants. Even the Commander chick standing next to Scotty is looking at him because she can't stand the smell.
