Star Trek XI Life Size Standups

I thought I bring this up. Anybody seen life size standups of charcters from Star Trek XI? Well when I went to the convetion in Vegas back in August, there in the vendors room they were selling them. They had life sizes of Kirk,Spock,McCoy,Sulu, Uhura and Nero. When I saw them I admitly wanted them! I was planing on buying Kirk and Spock, but since I traveled on a plane I couldn't. However I had picked up a order form so I could buy them later after I return home. I'm thinkng of buying them on my next payday, I just hope they still have them. Anyways, if any of you seen these, they are really cool. Even though they are just standups, its like they are the real charcters and not standups, which is cool. I could have a life size of spock and Kirk in any part of my place and would be like they are there. Anyways, you should check them out sometime if you are at a Star Trek convetion are anywhere they might be selling them.

You might still be able to get them through Amazon, but I'm not sure. Here's a TrekMovie article from July which talks about the standups. There was also the Burger King standee which was displayed in stores back in May, but it's hard to find a decent picture of one. (Maybe Devon can dig his old pic up.)

I was extremely fortunate, i found mine for a buck each at a yard sale! I also picked up the vintage Kirk bank at that sale also for a buck. i need to get a smaller hat for Kirk though...that one is a tad too big.

When i bring the standups down from the attic every Christmas they always freak my husband out the first time he walks into the room....and the dogs always go crazy.

I got a order form I picked up that makes and sells those standups along with other standups. I got the order form from a vendor who was selling them at the convetion I went to in Vegas last month. I was going to buy the standups right then, but my husband remind me about us being on a airplane, so I could'nt get them. However I did pick up a order form, so I can buy them anytime I want. I'm trying to get my husband to buy them for me. I already got to pay for the standups that I got off of ebay. They are the new Kirk and Spock. So I'm trying to get my husband to buy me the orginal Kirk and Spock standups from that order form. If he wont do it, than I'll buy them anyways. I love both Kirk's and both Spock's, so I just had to get them all. I plan on later buying the orginal and new McCoy too.My gosh, where am I going to put them?

I have the Burger King stand up in my TV room. It stands proudly behind the recliners. I had to move it from immediate view of the front door because it kept freaking out visitors.

Well , I havent payed for them yet. I will pay for them on Thursday because I only get payed bi-weekly. Anyways, the shipping for each one I'm getting is $15.00. One of the standups is $20.00 and the other is 26.99. I decied to get those off of ebay and get the others that thats not on ebay by ordering with that order form I got. The ones I'm getting off of ebay are the new Kirk and Spock and the orginals I'm gonna get through that order form I got from the convetion.

^ Thanks for answering my question. I was wondering how they would ship them, by priority or first class, or UPS? Im just curious, as they are so large, yet flat. the ones i have were originally folded in half, i am guessing yours will be too. As i said, i picked my up at a yard sale, but was very curious as to how they would be shipped (and for how much) by conventional means.

There really isnt a whole lot you can do with these guys, but i really do enjoy mine when i pull them out of the attic once a year. Sometimes i put all my Hallmark ornies on the tree (as in the photo), othertimes i put them on roping in the living room archway... and when i do that, i put the figures on either side.
