Are those really going to be in the kids' meals? If so, I don't know if I like them yet or not. My daughter will (thus the reason why they're in the kids' meals, huh?)
Hmm...some of them look like the new actors and some look like the original ones. Scotty looks more like Simon Pegg in other roles (did he dye his hair and shave his beard for Scotty?). Even the objects seem like hybrids, especially the communicator and tricorder. Do you get a card with your meal or are these just design drawings for the toy? If there's a toy I think making them stylized makes sense given how small they have to be.
Lucky me! A good friend of mine is manager of a Burger King, and he'll supply me with a complete set, free of charge. He also got me the entire "Simpsons" sets several years back...over a three year period...76 pieces in all.
Well, I guess this means the tricorders will look a lot like they did on TOS with just some updated refinements for the modern audience's tech-savvier sensibilities. And the D-7 looking Klingon ship is a nice nod too. Glad to see Klingon ships still look like they always have.
Those things are ass. Also, why isn't Narada included? It's more prominent in the movie than Klingon D-7's (which only appear in the Kobayashi Maru simulator) and the police hoverbike (why the fuck is that even there?)
