Game Star Trek Voyager Gameproject (Image Heavy)

Hi trekkies, finally im more or less finished with the main engineering. The LCARS are just dummy texture which will be replaced by real functional LCARS. There is still room for optimiziation but for now im happy with the result. This was a very complex work. It took me alot of hours just to figure out how it actually look like. I used almost 150 reference screenshots from the show from all 7 seasons and like a puzzle figured out every single detail. Now im proud to present you the Voyager main engineering in a way you havent seen it for the last 20 years. Tommorow im going to make some video clips. I really hope you like it. If you do please share it

:) These Screenshots are directly taken from the gameengine. No classic renderer were used and no postproduction. What you see here is what comes directly from the game. I wish you all a nice day or night and live long and prosper

I never realized that before: The color palette of Voyager is really depressing. So much black and dark gray...

It's that color palette that has kept the sets from really showing their age. 20 years later and it still looks awesome.

Yes it is the color palette which keeps the design timeless. Still today the show looks amazing. I bet if the galaxy class would get the same colors it would look much more modern than it is right now.

I don't know. I still like the Galaxy Interior. Perhaps I am spoiled by it since I grew up with it.

Well i also like the enterprise. I grew up with all startrek shows. First i watched TOS then TNG, DS9, Voyager, Enterprise and i liked them all. The Voyager used alot of the galaxy interior much more then you would think it does. The Voyager interiour was so good they used it for the enterprise e aswell. :)

I did too. But all of the tans, woodgrain bridge railing, etc just scream late 1980's tv show. To me anyway. Voyager's sets, with their grays and silvers, look like something that would be made today yet. Whether you like that or not is all in the eye of the beholder.

It is not that I don't like it. But it feels somehow unrealistic that a ship designer from the frendly federations says "hm let's paint that panel black!" :)

Hi trekkies im working on the holodeck. Here are some early wip (work in progress) screenshots. More pics will soon be available on patreon.

I'm just looking through this thread for the first time I have not gone through all the pages yet, but wow I just had to post, this is amazing.

Looks like a great project, any plans to release a VR experience out of it in the future?
Props go to all that hard surface modelling, do you stream any sessions of your work on twitch?

Hi friends, the astrometrics lab is more or less finished. I still have to optimize some parts of it but for now im happy. You can find much higher resolution screenshots on my patreon page https://www.patreon.com/gamemaker. The next room is the cargobay with the borg alcoven. I hope you like it. Have a nice day and thank you for your support. LLAP

You should post a paypal email aswell for those who might want to make a one off contribution in appreciation of your work rather than sign up to partreon's monthly sub.
