Absolutely. I'd be so happy to spend my time among them (aboard Voyager and in the Delta Quadrant, of course).*feels a spike in affection for our favorite space family
The creepy Lord Burleigh and his somewhat creepy kids.
I never cared for Janeway's holodec fantasy here but I would have liked to see how this one turned out, if the creepy Lord Burleigh had his wife chained in the tower or nailed to the floor like a very creepy family did in an The X-files episode.
The holodeck story is said to be based on Emily Bronte's book Wuthering Heights. I read it once but didn't find any Lord Burleigh in it so Janeway's holodeck fantasy must have been only slightly inspired by the book.
As for Persistence Of Vision, it's my second favorite episode of the series after Cold Fire.
I do get Wuthering Heights vibes from Janeway's holonovel although I think it feels closer to her sister's novel, Jane Eyre.
The Bronte sisters wrote about similar things, their novels are categorized as Gothic fiction so I guess that was what they meant when they said Janeway's holoprogramme was inspired by that book.
And yes, PERSISTENCE OF VISION is a great episode. I'm not that keen on COLD FIRE but like with almost all VOY eps, I quite like it. My fav Kes episode is undoubtedly BEFORE AND AFTER (although YEAR OF HELL kind of put a damper on it ...
).

I'm not too fond of Year Of Hell due to how Kes is basically erased from that episode in a way which reminds me of how people were erased from photos in Stalin's Soviet. It's an interesting episode as such but too obvious when iot comes to how kes was planned to be in it.

Thanks. That one is one of my fav wallpapers and specifically because I used red. It's my fav colour - however, for wallpapers, red is quite challenging to work with.
I remember that I strongly disliked the episode when I watched it.
Tom is being demoted and thrown into the brig for thirty days due to a minor incident.
And Janeway acted more like that horrible Alixus in the DS9 episode Paradise than the responsible and caring captain she had been in season 1, 2 and 3, a captain who really did seem to care for each and every one of her crew.
However, what this episode should have had is the Johnny Winter song "Thirty Days" as an recurring theme during most of the episode. It should laso have replaced the Voyager theme during the end credits.
That would have made the episode more watchable.
