Well actually I believe cats and dogs are lactose intolerant. So it's not good for them even though they like it. Plus it was it chocolate, which I've heard is not good for dogs. So it's probably not good for cats either. Why did Troi even ask for the ice cream if she was going to set it down with taking a bite and let the cat get in it?:D

What an awful thing for your neighbor to do.

Well, it seems that anyone with that name looks a little mad ...:lol::lol:
Seriously though, the cat's fine by me. Although in real life I've never seen a cat that likes icecream ... that was a bit bizarre about that episode.
Although my mother used to have a dog who was a real vegetarian. All day long he would eat cucumbers and carrots ... and his fav was melons. That was a lovely dog (until he was poisoned by one of the guys who lives further down the street ... :wah::wah::wah:).

But maybe you'll turn into a mad cat if you live with Barclay for that long ...
I must admit that if that dog was mine and someone poisoed it, that person would be a fugitive running for his life now.

I hate people wo treats animals bad. Once I scared the shit out of a stupid kid who bragged abut something similar by telling him that I would feed him with the same crap that he had fed a poor cat with (not mine cat). Fortunately the cat survived.

The kid was afraid of me for years, constantly avoiding me until I left that neighborhood! :D

And here's an episode in which Janeway shines (doesn't she always?): GOOD SHEPHERD

Gathorel Labin!
He was a slimy character, wasn't he?:)
I would say smarmy, but slimy works too. :)

He definitely was a person who I would never have thought Janeway would be falling for.
I mean ... this guy isn't even attractive physically. And then Voyager met him at the beginning of their journey. Surely our favourite Captain couldn't have been that desperate when she was still in love with Mark. Then why, oh why?

Janeway wasn't very lucky with the men in general. I think the only suitable partner for her could have been Jaffen from WORKFORCE ...

Tom doesn't exactly look happy to be there. :)
I get the impression that neither Tom, nor The Doctor were happy with Janeway's decision about Tom as an assistant to The Doctor. When Kes volunteered to be a medic it must have been a lessing for both The Doctor and Tom.

True. But this is the whole idea of "my" spinoff series: the three of them work together like a happy family.
Also since it would be a show very similar to the original ER series, there'd be no time to think about whether they liked each other or not. If you've seen that show you might recall how fast-paced it was.

Those Hirogen must have been related to Marayna (in the episode "Alter Ego"). They look almost the same.

Anyway, they were an interesting species, one of the most interesting in the Delta Quadrant.
Marayna wasn't particularly appealing to me whereas the Hirogen are by far my number one villains in the entire world of Star Trek (closely followed by the Borg). They remind me of the Cardassians on DS9 and I've always felt it's a pity that they didn't figure (a lot) more on VOY.
Also it's a shame no author has ever written a good Hirogen-based novel.

There was never any female Hirogen's ever shown at all anyway.

Or mentioned in the first place. Perhaps there are no female Hirogen? In any case, the race should have been fleshed out in more detail - I really liked it when they brought them back in FLESH AND BLOOD.

Maybe they are a very patriarchal society. The women don't go out and hunt like the men do. Or they don't live together at all and just come together at certain times to mate. They look sort of reptilian, don't they?

Maybe the female Hirogen lived on Marayna's planet?
