A mysterious character but a good asset to Seven (I still don't understand the need for the production to have added so many kids to show Seven's maternal instinct, even if Mezzoti was adorable and could have stayed on board with Icheb...
In some fanfictions read, he was finally adopted by Janeway, once back on Earth, what was an interesting idea.
Really? Why her and not Seven or Chakotay or even Tuvok?
I don't why exactly but I can imagine that his kindness, his curiosity in everything which surrounded him allied to a scientific expertise and of course, his will to pursue a carrier at Starfleet Academy would have pushed Janeway to take him under her wing...
Seven has so much to discover and learn on her side that she should be busy for awhile.
As for Chakotay and Tuvok, I never saw them concerned by Borg kids when Voyager was in DQ so why now? If Tuvok decided to return at Starfleet Academy, maybe could become Icheb's mentor under Janeway's encouragement...

We never saw Kes in uniform that's why she is missing from that wallpaper.Hmmm........isn't someone missing here?
The idea has potential although the fact that I can't bear to watch TNG is quite a bit of a debilitating factor (the word "Picard" is a synonym for "extreme boredom" in my vocabularyAnyway, I have a challenge for you. What about the crewmembers from Voyager in TNG-style uniforms?
). However, the bigger problem is that these days I only make wallpapers very rarely because I seem to have found new hobbies (time-consuming ones). Cooking is a novel thing in my life so that takes up quite a bit of my free time and of course, playing an online MMO ... you guys can probably imagine that a daily 2-3 hours is the minimum.So even though I haven't completely stopped making these pictures, I have a lot less time for them. And, on top of all that, my head is full of ideas of what pictures to make with the show ... so any suggestions would end up at the bottom of a long waiting list anyway. So I'd rather say "no" to it but the idea is quite a good one.

On the other hand, I know how it is. I have so much to do these days that I can't find the time for writing as much as I did before but I will try to come up with some Kes story soon. At least I will continue to maintain the Kes Website.
As for the TNG-style uniforms, I'll guess that the challenge goes back to me. I'll see if I can come up with something in the future.
As for Kes never wearing a Starfleet Uniform, well she does that now!

I will publish the picture again when I've sorted out that idiocy or when I have transferred all my pictures to another host than Photobucket.
(Note that I haven't created this picture which I found on the net so I can't take credit for it, however I changed the TNG-style combadge on the original picture to a Voyager-style combadge)

Well thanks for all these remarks - I truly appreciate them. I am really happy to see that people like what I only do as a hobby and what I would certainly never consider an art. I'll leave that to all the people on Deviantart and websites like that.
Hobbies as such come and go, that's for sure. My love for Star Trek Voyager seems to be pretty constant - they have yet to come up with another big-time personality in Hollywood (or wherever) as Captain Kathryn Janeway
- so it is highly unlikely that any film or tv show would oust Voyager from No. 1 place in my world any time soon.But while I am still very enthusiastic about the show, I simply don't devote as much time to every aspect of it (in this case to wallpaper-making) any more as earlier. As I mentioned earlier, I have new hobbies - that's all really.
However, just to reassure all of you that like these pictures, there are still quite a few to share - at this rate, even if I don't do any more pictures any longer, I'm guessing I still have enough to keep us going till next summer and possibly beyond. So for the time being, I am definitely going to stay with you on the wallpaper thread.
Also, while I don't do as many pictures these days, it doesn't mean I have stopped making them entirely. It's true that earlier I always made like 2 or 3 every week and nowadays it's like 2 or 3 every month but this simply means that the only thing that might change in the future is that perhaps I'll share them at a slower pace.
And for those of you who are interested, let me share that I have recently started making pictures for THE THAW. I hope that's good news
