So on CBS Action here in the UK, there is a trekspert who introduces new episodes and there was a short clip of him talking to the various TNG actors and when he was speaking to Burton he said "Its said that the worst thing you can do to an actor is cover his eyes" and Burton replied "Its true, I believed it then and I believe it now more than ever".

:rommie: :rommie: :rommie: :rommie: :rommie: :rommie:

Loved it. Its always nice when you're categorically proven right.
Note - I have no interest in reopening this debate, just to say

I'm taking a year off of teaching to write a book at the moment, but after six years in the profession, this quote served me well, and I thought others might benefit by it:

Never wrestle with a pig - you'll both get dirty, and the pig will love it.

No one said covering eyes didn't make the role more challenging. What was said is that Levar Burton rose to that challenge, and therefore it wasn't a mistake to cover the Character's eyes, because he did a good job of working around the challenge.

You could have posted this into the existing thread, and done it in a way that wasn't deliberately inflammatory.

I can only conclude the way you've chosen to do it is Trolling, and have warned for such. As there's already a thread on the topic, I'm closing this one.
