Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

I still can't get past how aweful the Discovery Klingon ships are. :barf: Those ships are the main reason why I won't subscribe to that set (plus I can't stand the Discovery series itself). I do like some of the Federation ship designs though.

TrekCore reports that Attack Wing will include a wave of Kelvin timeline ships.

Here’s to hoping for the doomed fleet (2258).

Cool, that will be the first time the "lesser" Starfleet vessels are rendered as real models. I've always wished that Eaglemoss did them first, but the nature of the license, IIRC, requires all Kelvinverse models to be oversized and I don't think there would ever be a big enough market to make such a line viable, sadly.

So is Fishers, Indiana like the Bermuda Triangle of Eaglemoss? My package has been there for four days now. :o

Ben Robinson posted updates on Twitter.
Short version, after DSC issue 2 there’ll be a break because they had rushed production and delivery for issues 1 and 2.

The significant ship from the DSC season finale will be done. No ETA yet.

So we'll get Shenzhou & Discovery but then wait a while for the rest; My wallet is relieved.

I'm still wondering what this "significant ship" is.

I'm pretty excited to see that eaglemoss will release 'The Significant Shop'. Should be an interesting model.

I'd much rather have it in the regular size to match the other Enterprise models I have.
between the kelvin timeline ships all needing to be specials, the XLs, and now the discovery collection being larger, i've actually stopped collecting the standard models altogether.

anyway, regular sized models are so last season.

I'm okay dropping $20-$25 for a toy every once in a while, $50-$60 is a whole different matter.

I was pretty shocked that they showed up today. Both models seem fairly straight (another shock), though the nacelle caps on the Phase II model weren't seated all the way.
