Star Trek: Starships Model/Magazine Subscription

Once the series is done there is the possibility you may be able to get one-off's all at once from their website. That is a supposition on my part, with no basis in reality. Just that if I was running the show, that is how I would do it to maximize the market availability.

Hmm. Anyone know if this is what Eaglemoss was able to do with their DC or Marvel collections?

And the last of the group, the Intrepid class from Enterprise.

With 10 new ships announced and 2 new specials, I am rather pleased with the only real disappointments being the 2 Specials. One which I think is one of the worst designs ever made for a major ship on screen, the other is not much better in my book, as it looks like a Star Trek ship made from an erector set, but I have read many account of people liking the Vengeance, so different things for different folks.

And very pleased that two ships I was very much unsure of made the list with the Pegasus and the ECS fortunate.

K so 41 to 50 are as follows:

41) Klingon Raptor ENT
42) USS Pasteur TNG
43) 8472 bioship VOY
44) Intrepid ENT
45) Maylon Freighter VOY
46) USS Enterprise C TNG
47) Negh'var (from Way of the Warrior) DS9
48) Armored USS Voyager VOY
49) USC Fortunate ENT
50) USS Enterprise TOS

got 3 ships today the defiant, the reliant, and the borg tennis ball.

Have to say i wasn't expecting the level of detail that i saw on the reliant on such a small model. i'm well chuffed :)

only thing is the models are like the Trekkie version of Pokemon. gotta get them all :)

looking forwards to the others as they come in :)

did they or they they going to do the Daedalus? it would be cool if they do :).

They have listed several hints on Facebook about the upcoming anouncement for issues 51-59 (which, apparantly, won't actually be announced for a while). I actually think its kind of fun trying to figure it out. Here is the message:

Star Trek Starships said:
Some hints for issues 50-59. 2 of these classes of ship have defended Earth from an invasion inside our solar system. One of these ships was hijacked. Two of them are operated by a race with pointy ears. Two of them are from the Delta Quadrant. We saw one of them fight in a war. One is both older and newer than a ship we've already done that has the same name. One of them had a captain who was played by two different actors. It'll be a while before I announce what they are though, so plenty of time for theories.

They stated in the comments there will not be a constitution class, nor the Raven in the upcoming announcement. They also stated that at least 8 of the 9 ships have been mentioned in the comments.

Judging by the posts, my best guesses are

-At least 1 First Contact Ship
-1 Ship from Enterprise that defended Earth (Warp Delta, Degra's Ship, Xindi Aquatic, etc)
-The Botony Bay
-1 Vulcan Ship
-1 Kazon ship
-1 borg ship
-The Centaur
-TOS Bird of Prey
-Relativity

Please keep in mind this is not the actual list, just my best guesses based on the hints given, known information about the collection and what has been confirmed/suggested to be on the future list, and guesses by others on Facebook.

** 2 of these classes of ship have defended Earth from an invasion inside our solar system.

Since the Steamrunner was already announced, I'm hoping for the Saber (but it could be the Norway). As for the other, I personally would love the Cheyenne from BOBW.

** One of these ships was hijacked.

I assume that's the Botany Bay. The only other alternative I can think of is a Kazon ship, which was hijacked (stolen) from the Trabe?

** Two of them are operated by a race with pointy ears.

Obviously Vulcan and Romulan. The T'plana Hath was on the preliminary list, although I would prefer the D'Kyr. As for the Romulan, it might be TOS Warbird, but I would prefer the science ship, the shuttle (that's the most interesting looking IMO), or maybe even the Scimitar (Reman)

** Two of them are from the Delta Quadrant.

Again, could be Kazon or Borg (probably Queen's diamond). I wouldn't mind a Vidiian ship.

**We saw one of them fight in a war.

This is most likely the Centaur. I think there has been enough talk/want for this one to warrent its release.

**One is both older and newer than a ship we've already done that has the same name.

Is this Enterprise's Klingon BOP?

One of them had a captain who was played by two different actors.

The only one i can think of is the Relativity.

** One of these ships was hijacked.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say the Enterprise-A. This was said to be coming, and considering how appalling the Refit model was I can easily see them re-doing it.

** Two of them are operated by a race with pointy ears.

Agreed on Vulcan and Romulan, but I'm gonna discount the TOS Bird of Prey. That is obviously the "Older but newer ship we've already done". The Ent Klingon BOP is in the 30s.

** Two of them are from the Delta Quadrant.

May as well be "Two ships from Star Trek Voyager". Could be anything, although I would like an Hirogen ship at least.

**One is both older and newer than a ship we've already done that has the same name.

Is this Enterprise's Klingon BOP?

Nope, that is getting released near issue 30.

I would assume this is the TOS Romulan Bird of Prey. Its both Older, then the ENT version of the Bird of Prey as it was created in the 60's, and its newer as it was from the 23rd century versus the 22nd Century. Just my guess.

Site also in comments revealed that Drexler's NX-01 refit is the only non canon ship that is slated for the first 90. Very disappointed with this, though I know a lot of comments have been request for it.

Personally I want ships from the show first and if they then run out go with non canon sources, if there is a market for it. That and its just in my mind a very unattractive design almost as bad as the New Klingon ship from Into Darkness (though that is a truly awful looking ship).

Anyone get their shipping confirmation in the US for the Nebula Class (can't believe how bad they screwed up its back side) and the Xindi ship (which looks absolutely great)?

I hope one of the "pointy eared" vessels in a Vulcan Suurok class ship from ENT. They looked great

** 2 of these classes of ship have defended Earth from an invasion inside our solar system.

They've already said the Steamrunner is looking like being one of the largest ships in the collection because of its relative dimensions.

I suspect the two "classes of ships" that's referred to are probably that and the Saber Class, which along with the Norway had been confirmed to be coming in the collection shortly after it was launched.

As for a hyjacked ship, what about that prison transport ship from an episode of Enterprise? Can't remember much about it but it reminded me at the time of the film Con Air.

Centaur would be great but the "one of these" part of fighting in a war makes me wonder if it's more likely to be an alien ship of some kind, rather than the Centaur which was a kitbash I believe?

I hope they announce the Daedalus class at some point, that would sell well I think.

Has anyone in the US received their Nebula/Xindi Insectoid order? My orders have been arriving around the 18th of the month, but I haven't even received the shipment email yet.

Same here.

I'm guessing the shipments are slightly delayed due to both the JJPrise and the standard issues coming this month.

I was also becoming concerned. I really did not want this month to be the first month that I have to email Eaglemoss and ask for replacements and not find out they're already working on it. Every time that I come on here and see people are complaining en masse about the same exact issue, I know Eaglemoss is probably already aware and working on it even if they they don't email us to let us know the specifics.

I just got the email for both shipments, the JJprise and the normal shipment, at 12:40p today. What is odd, both where shipped at the same time, all the events have the same times for them, but the JJprise is estimated for delivery tomorrow, the 20th, and the normal, on the 21st.

That was the number 1 guess on facebook, until the admin squashed it. He said something along the lines of 'it'll be a while before we do another constitution class.'

I just had a thought it might be the Sulliban cell ship, as one was hijacked in the pilot episode of enterprise and used a couple times

The NX refit is basically the only non-canon ship that is still considered by most people to be relatively canon, since it would have likely made an appearance had the show not been cancelled. (I would say the Daedelus as well, but the model did make an onscreen appearance in Sisko's office).

Romulan BoP 2152 #27
Valdore #31
Suurok class #34
Klingon BoP 2152 #35
Klingon Raptor class #41

A lot of the Romulan and Vulcan stuff is there already. So the point eared may be the Romulan and Vulcan science/scout ships.

Inside the solar system, invasion, the only "invasion" that's ever happened has been the Borg one, or the Breen attack in 2375 but we never saw those ships.

So I'm guessing two First Contact ships also. Which probably means Steamrunner, the only other FC one I want besides the Akira.

What do they mean by Invasion. Has Earth ever been invaded? Attacked absolutely. That would be the above mentioned Borg, Breen and Xindi (main weapon and also many others in alternate timeline with Twilight), and the Klingon ship (though it will already be released long before these) that attacked Archer and crew near Earth.
