Who said anything about going into a story looking for the wrongness?

Because you don't have to go into something looking for logical inconsistencies for one to drag you out of the story. It's why things like the Discovery turbolift fight through Tardis space are so heavily panned, it's just such a blatant production side failure that your slapped in the face with the fact that it's a production side failure.
I was not slapped in the face. It annoyed, minorly. Certainly not in any wrong sense.

I don't consider it wrong; Just inconsistent.

I'll take your word for it.

If I'm hunting for things to be wrong I'm not longer invested in the story and sm actively seeking to be pulled out of it. That is not loving a franchise to me.

Mileage varies and obviously does.

I watch episodes multiple times. So hunting for stuff is fun for me.

Section 31 is a complete mess, but it has a couple of redeeming qualities. The 2324 Era LCARS (which are, sadly, glimpsed only a handful of times in this film) are definitely in line with what the Enterprise-C and later TNG Era starships would use.

Finally got around to watching this. It's bad. Therefore, I'm sure there's a sequel in the works. I hate to crap all over the effort everyone clearly behind the scenes put into it. But it's not very good. It's not Star Trek. What a waste of Michelle Yeoh. Couldn't even tell what was going on half the time with the blurry quick cut VFX. Worst Trek production by far.

2/10
