Hey Guys,
Anybody interested in a Star Trek Automation ?

Take a look.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k4ctYLIdzuE

If you don't like the link simply google 'Star Trek Scada'
The prototype is operational and controls my house.

The devices are all in- and outputs , pumps, switches , temperatures, speed control and so on.

Ideas , comments , questions are very welcome.
It's .NOT.commercial , just for fun and capabilities.

RGDS , T L.

You mean the Input and output screens ?
As exact a possible... even with touchscreen and sliders.
I am even working on another project....
A quad computer with quads and nibbles instead of Bytes and Bits
long term though

Well, Voyager control panels used the same layout designs as Starfleet controls in TNG or DS9. Why here instead of those two other forums or General Discussion? I didn't watch the video beyond 30 seconds, because it all looked like some generic automated house program display.

No it's not simply something generic.
It is specially constructed to bring a complete interface online.
I'm just trying to get some extra ideas to make it more complete.
All the LED's you see on the device screen are actual I/O.
Running in auto / manual or even on warning.
I have 3 coupled PLC's running with it.

Pretty neat, but I think this thread is more suited to the general Trek forum seeing that it's based on the LCARS interface used in all 24th century series. So I shall move it there. :techman:
