The Ferengi were originally going to be in a D'Kora-Class marauder and there was going to be a full on space battle in orbit against the Resolute, but then I decided that this is the TNG-era, where the resolution to the story wasn't going in with phasers firing (that's VOY's response to everythingNice job!
