Hi Randy!

That's some funny stuff you guys come up with. Overall I sense a hearty familiarity within your team. You have fun and you love to show it. That's good!

Well, and as it nothing more wants than to entertain, I'll regard it as such. Entertaining vignettes with rotating focus on all your characters.

Your audio quality has certainly improved. Sometimes, though, you seem to have little sync problems, where audio had to be edited/re-worked. Why do you have to rework some audio parts? Was there a sound challenge in the background? Or did the mic not work properly at that time? It's a little bit puzzling why such audio edits have to occur when seemingly the video shots not quite differ... What has happened there between totals and close-ups?

Nice touch of bar/elevator music, especially in the end with all those ships in orbit we still hear this music. Nice editing choice!

The Klingon Waitress is completely without voice? Strange... there could have happened some dubbing afterwards, I guess...

The Disruptor discharges. Well done!

Greetings from Platjenwerbe

Thanks, Per! Our cast have worked on several projects together, so yes, they are very familiar with each other. This cast, though, is the cast from Star Trek: Reliant and Star Trek: Valkyrie as well as Project: Potemkin. We even had Dean Rogers from Starship Farragut (and a voice actor in Valkyrie) and Brian Holloway from Phase 2 did the Klingon makeup. Quite a bit of diversity there. They all just came together really well; heck, I'm not sure if Dean had met his fellow voice actors from Valkyrie before!

Well, and as it nothing more wants than to entertain, I'll regard it as such. Entertaining vignettes with rotating focus on all your characters.

And shot and edited and shown in 36 hours. Not too shabby for that sort of production.

I sat there and watched the episode on my 42" office monitor, and it was perfect before I uploaded it. I'm going to check with my fellow executive producer and see if there's a possible problem with Premiere Pro. We also may try uploading an AVI and seeing if there's an issue with the format and Vimeo. It stunned me because we had worked on getting the dialogue spot on, and it was until I watched it on Vimeo.

The background noise of the bar (and it was an actual bar that the folks at the hotel were nice enough to allow us to use) was incredible. It overwhelmed the cam mikes and the others we used as well. In particular, there was one woman whose cackling was really horrid. (She also kept thumbing through our costumes and props.) As a result, the entire episode was re-dubbed except for Darren Hann. His Newfie voice just cut through the background noise like a hot knife through butter. When we first showed the episode at the con it was shot at, the voices were practically indistinguishable from the background cackling. So we spent some time getting all the dialogue dubbed.

Nice touch of bar/elevator music, especially in the end with all those ships in orbit we still hear this music. Nice editing choice!

That's actually an original sound track for this production, created by our musician Tony Lunn. He is TERRIFIC!

The Klingon Waitress is completely without voice? Strange... there could have happened some dubbing afterwards, I guess...

Didn't think that it was necessary to dub that line; I thought it obvious what she was saying. BTW, she was drowned out by the real background noise from the bar. Lara says "Walk" and that cackling women repeats "Walk!" almost instantly. This was our second shoot in a bar, and wasn't our last. We have one coming up from the 2014 convention that features even more folks from Farragut.

The Disruptor discharges. Well done!

I originally wasn't going to do them, you know, but everyone wanted to see them. I also fixed the Gorn's pasty yellow hands to green.

Thanks for the feedback!

We shot at the con to take advantage of getting folks from other productions as well as extras in costume. Lara (the Bouncer) and the Klingon patron, the Federation captain and his first officer that went between the Andorian sisters were all extras who were attending the convention.

Sounds stronger now than the raw audio from our live shoot; great job syncing the audio to the lips. ;) Randy, you and Sarah and Bill etc. worked extremely hard to have the "Con-cut" ready for that last day's showing. Love how you worked out the teeny problem at the beginning with the planet City scape.....

We did so many little things, it really took nearly a year in post-production. I'm still amazed that we were able to get it ready for the convention in 36 hours. Wasn't able to do that with "Ladies Night Out," but it should be ready for April 2015's TrekTrax Atlanta.
