No wonder I forgot about it. It's not really much of a line worth remembering. And yes, that's a "We're sorry for even attempting something new for the Borg, Jurati doesn't count" line if I've ever heard one.

Oh well, the showrunner have borrowed from Star Wars, at least the sequence was fun.

and had a father-son conflict while the emperor/ess looked on.
and a pilot that had to trust his feelings to fly
and a desperate capital ships battle going on nearby

    It's beyond Positronic.

Remember Data's original body was a Early ProtoType, and it was amazing.

What Synths have is more considered a "Work of Art" that it can pass most scans.

    It's on a different level.

Yeah but ROTJ has Ewoks. So Star Wars is still the coolerest.

The Death Star Trench Run was basically a nearly straight line along the rounded hull of the outside of the Death Star.

What Data did was in short order (On the fly) plot a route through a giant random 3D maze to the center of the cube, w/o crashing into anything.

That's FAR more amazing then flying in a straight line.

maybe the next Trek show will begin with two diplomats sent to discuss trade stalled trade negotiations on Risa when things don't go as planned and they run into a wacky sidekick and another kid of Beverly's who was conceived entirely by midichlrinanothingies who has special powers.

No complaints here. It was what I wanted, the Enterprise doing amazing things one last time.

We sure got it, the Enterprise-D has never looked better.

Geordi even got slight upgrades with Triple Turbine Bussard Collectors instead of the Double Turbine Bussard Collectors.

Go back and watch, you'll see 3x Light Bulb like glows, that's a indication for Triple Turbine or whatever those spinny things that is used to help process matter intake in the Bussard Collectors.

Well, I finally saw the last two episodes in full back to back, treating them like a feature-length movie. Even though I read all the spoilers and saw smidgens of the episodes already, I have to say it was one heck of a ride! Hopefully the Borg will STAY dead this time! There are some who have passed on that I wish were still here to watch it.

I have noticed some music clips from previous Trek that were used in the finale. The first notable one was when we see the Enterprise-D fully restored in its place at the museum - that was from "Star Trek: Generations," and that music was played in the movie when Picard and Riker are talking on the wrecked bridge of said ship. Interesting hearing it again on an intact Enterprise-D bridge. Interesting symmetry there.

The second one was on the bridge of the now-Enterprise-G when Seven and Raffi throw Jack out of the center seat. I recognize this clip from "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock," when you see the ill-fated Grissom approach the Genesis Planet.

And of course there were some elements from the "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" soundtrack shortly after.

I'm glad the interior didn't look anything like Star Trek: Generations.

This entire final season was full of remember berries which fitted well for the serial.

I actually prefer the bridge layout of the ST:Generations variant.

I do prefer the TV show format over movies, but Bridge design wise, I like the updated one more.

I just wish we got to see more of it, then the short instance of the movie.

I second that notion. And it was sweet to see her fully restored in the museum. I have to thank Mr. Matalas for the saving grace that he did here, correcting the injustice that happened in Generations.

And third time is the charm for Troi driving. She didn't crash it this time!

Another thing I noticed as well is the Borg interiors are more reminiscent of the original TNG Borg interiors from "Q Who" and "Best of Both Worlds Parts I and II" as opposed to latter stuff like "Star Trek: First Contact" and the Borg "Star Trek: Voyager" episodes, such as the alcoves and those upside-down lit red and green pyramids (the reds being "power wave-guide conduits" and the greens being distribution nodes).

I really enjoyed this episode, a lot of things "came off." Really nice end to the plots as laid out. Poker at the end giving us "back" All Good Things' ending was the right touch to go with as it felt we were really robbed of it by the Movies and Nemesis depressing ending.

The short bit that was the most obvious and blatant flashing set of lights for "GREENLIGHT ME" with The Ent-G's bridge crew and the kind of set of three bridge crew I'd like to see. I think it'd be an interesting thing to see as a show, and they did leave Stashwick's funeral/death beyond the on-screen cleverly out to give us that Borgified resurrection that I think the character should have if Legacy did get Greenlit.

Oh the cameo at the very end. *Chef's kiss* It's always a pleasure with John De Lancie.

What ARE they going to do when they run out of letters considering the rate they get through Enterprises? In this show alone we've gone from E-F-G. Do we add a number afterwards? NCC-1701A1? AA? Will we, in ten years time get the Enterprise NCC-1701 AAAAAAAAAAAAA! ?

    Either way.

    More plz.

Paramount, go talk to Terry and Greenlight that Legacy thing.

    Who said it was jettisoned?

    It's the 24th century.

    Picard can have 2x Wives.

I don't see what's wrong with Polygamy, as long as everybody is copecetic with the love / marriage arrangement and everybody is fine being married to whomever they want, I don't see a problem with JLP having 2x wives.

She did the most important thing, figure out how to save her husband & friends.

She realized that getting the ship closer to the people will have the ships Transporter Signal be strong enough to over-ride and beam out her Husband & Friends.

That's why she moved the Enterprise to be almost on top of Picard, Jack, Will, Worf.

When the ship is that physically close, I doubt that the Borg Queen's signal can outpower the Enterprise-D's.

Yeah, but that updated design was built for the stunt people to do their thing in the movie, and rolling the captain's section to crash into a wall.

You would think the Enterprise Saucer section could go to Warp, and if not at full impulse could travel fast enough away from the shockwave. Sigh, it was meant to be destroyed which didn't make any sense to me.
