If the next series is Star Trek: Titan, I'm just typing out Titan, it ain't that hard. ;)

I won't type "TIT" because it'll make me feel dirty, and I refuse to type "STT" because I'm not going to give people who use "STD" any type of legitimacy.

Here's hoping they do what SNW did and become more creative with the sub-titles.

Assuming they would call it that. Discovery is the only one of the modern shows that uses a ship name for its title.

I'm leaning towards they already gave away the title, if it happens. I think they'd call it Star Trek: Legacy. It's broad enough to incorporate a lot and sums up what it would be.

Picard Season 3 might even really be Legacy Season 0.

I already see their own version of the Disco athletic T-shirt with a huge "TIT" printed on the front. I'll order it in bulk.
So, this is how they're going to save streaming ST. We've all heard about the impending budget cutbacks. Apparently, they want to offset those loses with large increases of merchandise--specifically TIT merchandise!

I don't get that sense at all. The Link is made up of individuals who have different opinions.

"That's why we took so long to bring you home. There was disagreement in the Link over what to do with you."

But when the changeling joins the link, the drop becomes the ocean.

Odo had different opinions because he'd been the drop for so long. These people had shared their basic emotions with each other and been so emotionally close and intimate the boundaries between individual thoughts were merged together.

How on EARTH do you get pregnant in a time when contraception is a simple regular injection for both parties?

Picard is in good company..

I love Seven, but Id prefer her to be the CO to Shaw. I really like the character, and like him even more after spending a week on the ST cruise with him. Shaw, Seven, Laforge, and a few others to round out the cast would make a compelling series, i think. Maybe even with a noncom Dr. Jack Crusher.

I don’t think Seven HAS to be the Captain. Different type show but Lower Decks is excellent and the main characters are all ensigns. And Burnham being the lead of Disco while not being Captain was not that shows issue.

Her being Shaws XO would be fine. Assuming of course he survives all this.

I'd be fine with that as well. They're clearly making the Shaw character a bit more sympathetic as time goes on. However, they seem to be grooming Jeri Ryan to be a series lead. It seems like a natural development at this point. We'll see!

For the first time ever, I sort of liked Raffi in a few scenes. Having her with Worf so they can bounce off of each other is a good idea.

I still don't like the tone and aesthetic of the show, and the whole thing feels a bit cartoony IMO, but this is easily the best live action Trek of the streaming era so far.

Probably not a continuation of ST:Picard but perhaps ST: Titan with some of the characters returning. Likely a Seven series. Probably Laforge's daughter. With budget cutbacks, I could see DISCO and PIC getting reduced down to Titan (TIT?). SNW likely continues.

Oh my lord we cannot call it TIT

TTN works, but sounds more like a religious broadcasting network.

I've see TTN used in the Lit subforum to refer to the Titan novel series, so that could work.

not sure but I was hoping that colony would be the big bad of the season

I have clearly been doing a little too much LDS recently as I was expecting a reference to Nagilum when they were talking about a living nebulas.

Up the long ladder had two Starfleet officers, including Riker, phasering living beings in gestation who were made from their DNA without their consent.

I could see them making a new show with these characters. Some combination of Raffi, Elnor, Seven, and Worf (we know Dorn was interested in a series, at least). Interestingly enough, Raffi might be the main character since she’s the common factor in all of them.

My preference would be a starship, but with this group I could also see them going another direction.

I think it's literally impossible in the 25th century having an unwanted pregnancy (I mean, it probably is today too if you have access to contraception and morning-after pills). It can't be just an "accident". :shifty:
