Take your like and get out! That was way funnier than it should have been...Well, we keep reviving old culture and repurposing it, so I'm for it.

My friend who saw E2 with me 2 weeks ago also remembers it differently.I seem to have switched universes
My memory, 2 weeks old, is that Picard's big line "Because he is my son!" was much stronger, with force, almost yelling across the bridge. Here it is much softer. Either I was so impressed with the scene that it formed an exaggerated memory, or they used a different take for the final release![]()
More like a refined winnebagoAnd there was nothing about the Razor Crest that was overpowered. It was the equivalent of a refurbished truck.
Remind me to take Wagner and Mozart off my Spotify playlists……I'm sorry, I just don't buy the idea of 23rd-25th century people chilling and lounging to 20th century classic rock.
Overly snarky, emotional and quippy. Very immature.
Well she was literally smoking during the scene. Reminds me of my parents house in the 70s. Good times. What honestly is the deal with Klingon and other villain bridges being filled with smoke? Too much money spent on weapons and not enough spent on air filters?

I can understand the notion of the profanity taking one out of the moment, given that it was never present in TNG. That being said, when TOS made the jump to the big screen (TWOK and on) its use of profanity increased quite a bit as well.
I thought that was pretty good.
The “reveal” of Picard’s son was…meh.
We’ll see if they have somewhere interesting to go.
We both LOVED the reveal of Worf being Raffi’s handler.
