In other words, when he told Picard "Remember what I said when we last met? The trial never ends?".... Could this be Q following the events from Encounter At Farpoint?

YesHe says that in “All Good Things...” as well.
The Watcher... Doctor Who - Logopolis
You see how it all ties in?
I don’t understand this connection, this is too complicated for me now.The Watcher was teh Sisko all the time!
Don’t try to over complicate things. They will just spend all of their screen time partying together, getting high off their mini 2 person collective consciousness and arguing/b*tching at each other unless they get a break on a reality TV show after the success of their upcoming Encounter at Farpoint Q style trial hosted by Whoopie Goldberg?I can't wait to see how Jurati deals with having the Borg Queen in her head slowly trying to take over. Will she just box her away like Batman did to Joker in Arkham Knight? I think Jurati's mind is stronger than the Queen's judging by how she so easily stole information before.
I don’t think that they had a CGI budget this season. It must have all been spent on the high calliber cast instead. Also the soundtrack is amazing so money well spent there even though they ripped some of it off First Contact. It would be nice to see some Europa mission flight hardware in episode 6. A DY-200? An OV-165 from the ST: Enterprise intro on the pad? It's nearly Easter - make with the eggs, if the season opener didn't blow the new ship CGI budget.
You mean Gary Seven?
Maybe Gary Mitchell was a Watcher gone wrong?I was talking about the eyes of the people the Watcher was controlling. All I could see was Gary Mitchell.
Probably a sign that I've watched way too much of this stuff, for way too long.

Did they need these obvious visual Q’s back in the 1960’s? I guess that this applies for the Watchers appearances in Picard though as they had a similar 1960’s eye glow effect, however this effect was not permanent or damaging in Picard… the Watchers were very selective choosing hosts around whoever they wanted to communicate with (in this case Picard) and after they had left their host messenger there was hopefully no lasting physical or mental or psychological damage… I think that this was apparent in the latest episode as everyone hosted by the watchersonly seemed mildly dazed, the little girl for example just blinked a few times and carried on as normal . I'm pretty sure it was just a visual signal for the audience that someone was being controlled.

Then they have to re-reset things by allowing Kore to die.
Maybe they are spending $10 per episode but not actually spending the money they receive for each episode on the actual episode? They could be secretly saving all of the money up to make an epic Star Trek film that they can not afford to film on a TV series budget? They have $10 million dollars an episode to spend now. They've got to spend it on something.
I'll bring the phaser!

I don’t understand American TV politics, does it really matter who pays for it as long as the fans enjoy it and it makes money to justify it being made in the first place? Yes, let’s film Sh*t Star Trek that no one wants to watch… that will make us rich! HahaParamount and CBS are separate entities that are part of Viacom. CBS won't be the one footing the bill for the next Trek movie.
