If the eye of a cadaver is gouged out with no sentient witnesses, does it still evoke primal squeamishness?
-- Eye-Scream Koan

I will say that when the "Chekhov's hummingbird pin" was used, the eye-scream was relatively benign: a corpse in the background. If anything, the "story log" with Nikita Ramsey walking around with said object hanging from her orbit was more of an eye-scream.

Yes. Quark. The one-season wonder that in many ways was a link between Get Smart and Mork and Mindy. Inspired by one of Korax's lines, trying to pick a fight with Scotty: Adam Quark's sagging old rust-bucket of a starship was literally a garbage scow. Vegetons do not kiss; they pollinate.

And for those not familiar with the series, Ficus Pandorata (Richard Kelton) was the science officer aboard Quark's garbage scow, and was a Vegeton, a fully humanoid plant. And Princess Libido (Joan Van Ark) was the daughter of the Gorgon Emperor, in a 2-part send-up of the whole Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon genre (decades before Captain Proton).
