Would explain his feelings for Soji.

Is this a mind-blown kinda thing?

Would also explain how he knew where the Transwarp Conduit opening was to follow the La Sirena.

Maybe after he lost the tracker in Agnes he honed in on Soji?

Well hot damn. Maybe it’s not quite so crazy after all.

I suggested that, too. He did mention to Soji that he lost a brother, "though not a twin", both of which of course he might just have made up to chat Soji up. (Actually, I initially thought that Rizzo was transsexual, so he lost a brother but gained a sister.... and she is his synth twin.)
Apart from Data, I cannot think of anyone else who is male.

I should have figured at least one other person would have proposed it before I did! Nice. Yeah, I completely forgot Narek’s line about losing a brother, too. There’s smoke here, whether or not there’s a fire.

Yes, she did beam out.
I wonder if any of the Xb's managed to somehow inject her with Borg Nanites?

That would be a just end for her instead of dying.

Okay, cool, the beam out did happen. Yes, I love the notion of her suddenly struggling with a slow but steady transformation into a Borg. Would be quite the fitting end.

Looks like the images earlier, where everyone was making a big deal about Airiam and Discovery, etc. were just a montage of showing the advancement of AI. It's not Airiam, but I'll use the name in quotations just to keep things simple.

The evolution of AI
"Airiam" --> Looks cybernetic.
Data --> Looks more human.
Soji --> Looks human.

Soji is that advancement fully realized. Which is what the Zhat Vash fear.

Picard saying how Data's emotional abilities were "limited" was jarring because it focused only on Data's TNG time (and thus the time the audience was mostly familiar with) and not the 8 years of offscreen Enterprise E time when Data had an emotions chip and Picard would have been around him.

Looks like one of those flower things, not the ship. Maybe it's using the flowers for reentry?
You're right Laddie ...

It appears that the 'Flower Satellite engulfs the La Sirena and then crashes through the atmosphere...

Called it again!

Another thought about the "disaster" which met the older race:

Maybe they developed synthetic life and embraced it as equals and cherished it. However, a racist minority wouldn't hold truck with this, and decided to "cleanse" their entire civilization by destroying any planets which accepted the synths. The warning to future races was to not fall into the siren song of tolerance like they did, because it would corrupt the "natural order of things."

Synths aren't the danger, racism is.

This also ties in well, because the Zhat Vash were infected by racism, and similarly decided to just let a large portion of their own population die in the name of hatred. It's the memories of fear and loathing that are the true danger to the galaxy.

That's what I am thinking: not Data, but a more human-like android played by Spiner or some program that uses remnants of Data's memories.
The novels kinda had that. He wasn't organic, but he got a new body just like his mothers, that allowed him to fully emulate a human. It was a very interesting plot.

We still have not seen or heard anything about Lore. I can't help but think he's going to play some part in the finale. There hasn't even been a passing reference.

Riker and Troi accidentally broke him after they stole him trying to harvest a cure for their son.

I guess we could rationalize it that the emotions chip gave Data emotions but maybe not fully or perfectly. So Data's emotions were still a bit limited in some ways even with the emotions chip.
