Same with some liking the idea that it was the events of First Contact which created the Mirror Universe, which ties in with the idea of Nero's trip back in time creating the Kelvin Universe.

Great episode! Loved the flashback pics. Note that we've now seen the Enterprise-E, D, and original (hologram) in this show. Can we all agree that the statement put out by the showrunners that "you won't see the Enterprise" was essentially a red herring? I think the actual 1701-E will show up toward the end of the season.
That made me think the Klingons, Romulans and Feds should have had some kind of treaty covering quadrant threats like the Borg.
Which amusingly made me think that the Klingons should have been able to a put together a much larger fleet then the Feds could at Wolf 359*. it makes sense the Feds couldn't cause of the speed of the cube and the feds being pacifists, but the Klingons are a military empire.
*I know canonically some Klingons showed up.
Edit: That would make a nice flashback scene. The Romulans arguing in senate about sending help. Some laughing saying "Let Earth burn. Let Starfleet headquarters get scooped into space."
And another guy saying "And who is going to be next?? We're only 100 light years away."
Wasn't it badly damaged by Shinzon's ship? It would make more sense to have constructed an Enterprise-F than to repair that wreck.

Why do you assume EMH didn't activate? It did, Maddox died regardless. And I'm sure the computer logs show that too. How much time you wanted them to spend going through the exact details? It is not important.
It was almost fully repaired by end of Nemesis. If you go by the book as canon-like material, E-E was still in service with Picard in command as late as 2381

Yeah I cocked up there a bit, should have used spoiler tags from the start.

I think I may have been suffering from ridiculously early spoiler shock.
They trust Jurati and have no reason to doubt her version of events.
She was being repaired at the end of NEM, and according to the tie-in novel, apparently, she's still out there.
Why? It's the first time he's gone back aboard a Cube since BoBW. Surely that's going to dig up some pretty bad old memories.

They could have been using word play, we haven't seen the Enterprise (NX01) so far all we have seen is the 1701, 1701 D and E.
They may have just changed their minds but I don't think so myself.
Highly likely we will see the E but it will be right at the end of the season finale.
There is some tie in media that opens up the possibility of an Enterprise F but its non canon for now.
I would love to see Worf roll up in the F but its probably going to be the E.
Every story set post Nemesis in every continuity I've come across has had the E fully repaired and active for years after Nemesis.
Wow this was a great episode.
Loved the stuff with Hugh and Picard, I've been looking forward to their reunion and it did not disappoint.
Hmm, so I guess that secret Borg Queen chamber could explain at least some of the Borg Queen's escapes.
I've been wondering if Narek's feelings for Soji were real, and after this episode it definitely looks like they were not.
I've also been curious how Riker and Troi were going to come into play this late in the season, and now we know.
I'd been expecting them to spend the whole season working their way to The Artifact and Soji, so I'm very curious where they are going to go for the rest of the season. I'm guessing the focus will shift now to investigating her origins and the conspiracy around the Synth attack on Mars.

Ok at this point we're at an impasse. I remember people questioning us and management about my coworker's heart attack and death and then checking everything and clearing out our entire aisle (!) for inspection. That's far more than Rios is shown to have done. So my viewpoint is based on reality and real experiences. Maybe it's just best we moved on to another topic as this debate isn't getting anywhere
Perhaps they should have dedicated a whole episode for going through the medical logs and updating the medical emergency procedures?
