Star Trek Phase II Enemy: Starfleet! Now Released!

Wow. When Enterprise went off the air in 2005 I felt like the Trek television franchise was dead. With the last three episodes of Phase II it seems as if it's been brought back to life. I'd love to see this show produced for a weekly series!

This episode rocked. Thanks for all the hard work. It was worth the wait.

I'd be satisfied if CBS just picked it up for a Saturday Night summer replacement!

I just finished viewing it. James, my compliments to you and your staff for crafting an excellent Star Trek adventure. Paul Sieber did an excellent job as Kyril. And as always, the ever lovely Barbara Luna did an extraordinary job in the role she was given. Alersa was definately a formidable opponent for Jim Kirk and his crew. Although it sounds highly improbable, I have a hunch that we haven't heard the last of her and her mercenary crew.

The SFX and sound effects were very sharp and clear. And the action was definately solid entertainment.

My compliments also go to Dave Galanter and his co-writers for conceiving an explosive Star Trek adventure.

Looking forward to Kitumba and The Child, when they are released. Hopefully, the latter will be better than the NG adaptation from twenty years past.

Keep up the good work, people. Star Trek - Phase II gets better and better with each viewing.

Watched this tonight at work. I loved it. It was such a delight to be able to watch a new Star Trek episode. It's a feeling I haven't had since Enterprise went off the air six years ago. For an hour I was fully immersed in the Star Trek universe again. Great job guys!

Lazy Sunday afternoon with nothing going on so I sat down and watched the latest from the gang at Phase II.

I have to say that overall it was a very engaging hour. Well done.

A couple of minor nitpicks:

It seems like you guys go to the full screen readout a few too many times in the episode. Even though in most cases we'd already had the information given to us via dialogue.

The Peter Kirk scenes just don't work for me. Twice, when the action was seemingly revving up, we cut to a Peter Kirk scene and it just killed action. The scenes just felt forced.

Other than those quibbles it was an entertaining hour. :techman:

Seems like the preview timeframe is already over.

Still only takes you to the flash version. Extracting the MP4 content requires another mouse click.

Very good episode. I agree with the guy that said the Peter Kirk scenes just don't seem to work. They didn't work in the 2 parter, they really don't work here either. Also for some reason I just didn't buy Luna as the villain that well, maybe that's just me. But it didn't hurt the episode that much Very well paced episode though. Probably not quite as good as the one with Sulu but it's definitely near the top of my favorite STNV/P2 eps so far.

As always, thanks for the valuable input. Your feedback helps us improve our productions in the future.

Very well done. As has happened with every episode the nits get harder to pick. This was an enjoyable episode on every level, although there are a couple of thoughts I'll pass along for consideration as you see fit: First, I thought the ultimate solution might have been foreshadowed a little better. It seemed to just come out of thin air. My apologies if I missed it on first viewing on my netbook. There were just a couple of slightly jumpy edits. In the teaser, the body rolling down the hill was slightly off, I thought and it seemed to happen in a couple of other places. Overall, the production values continue to push ever closer to the levels of "professional" studios. One less serious observation, I hope you guys can afford to replace the scenery Barbara Luna chewed up!
While I have mixed feelings about Peter Kirk's character, I did like the McCoy line "TWO Kirks"...
Thank you all for your hard work. Maybe one of these days the Idiots in Charge at Paramount will realize that there is an incredible demand for this kind of programming.

I like Peter Kirk. I hope he sticks around. Paul Sieber and Barbara Luna also brought a lot to this one, and I always enjoy Cawley's Kirk.

Man, watching a new episode of Star Trek is a great way to finish off the weekend. Well done to everyone involved! Can't wait for the next one.

Enjoyed this very much. Looking forward to the downloadable version so I can add it to my collection.

On a side note, I really liked the use of musical cues from The Invaders.
