back in the 90's my friends and i wanted to make a star trek parody. we wrote a script and on multiple occasions we tried to film it but we never got much filmed. i think the main problem was that we were not very organized and lost interest over time. currently none of us are still friends.
recently i edited together the footage we shot into a semi-coherent story and filled in the blanks with space shots overdubbed with connecting story elements. it turned out pretty well and pretty funny.
i am wondering if there would be anyone willing to pitch in some way, shape, or form to (in a way) remake the original intent and make a (hopefully) good movie.
any suggestions about how to go about making this happen on more or less no budget would be appreciated.
