No. Haven't had any server lag issues in a while, but there have been some ISP issues. Post a tracert and nettest output on the tech support forum, maybe somebody can tell you if that's going on over your path.

So this is interesting; basically, an analysis of the Atari financial report indicates that STO and CO met their FY'11 revenue targets too, and Atari had to pay them another round of massive bonuses March 1. It's possible Atari is trying to get this off their books because basically an entire quarter of their profits had to go back to Cryptic because STO and CO are doing so well.

The Peregrin Fighter glitched a bit on me?
I can only customize it after selecting a Fleet Emblem and it won't let me put it back to UFP after?
It also didn't let me finish "Static" by not giving me a comtinue window?
I did the mission successfully with my Delta Flyer.
I noticed that their sale wasn't up on the main page when I bought the fighters. Someone must have screwed up and put it up after the rest of the stuff went up glitching the Peregrin and cheating me out of 20% off. Typical Cryptic!
Submitted ticket # 1,117,576 or something like that.
Anyone else have fighter customization issues?
Attack Hortas should be more than just one per character as they don't do much. I was going to give one to each BOff. Now I have nothing to do again.

Known bug. They're working on a fix.
The fighters weren't included in the sale. This was stated in every piece of advertisement for the sale, including the front page of the website, the banner in the launcher, and the store page on the website.
They always do this when they have a sale right after introducing something new in the store, so yes, it's typical Cryptic; but it's not a glitch and you weren't cheated.

When I checked the main page the sale wasn't up so when I encountered problems and checked back and the sale WAS up so I concluded an item glitch.
I look forward to the fix.
BTW, even for known bugs it's always good to file a bug report. The filing of the report collects data about your account that helps them reproduce and fix bugs, and the volume of reports is figured into their prioritizing of development time.
I did file a report, but it appears they are already working on it.
It was pretty weird though, I hope you can see how I might think it was bugged by the sale having read so many horror stories on the forums about people unable to log in for months because of a glitched launcher file.

Those people should have read their responses; when that happens you just delete the .hogg files and let them re-download. Last time it happened to me, I was offline for an hour, not months. It's rare, but it's a pretty easy fix, unless you're on some kind of low bandwidth cap on your internet usage.

They contain all the local game data and various graphical and sound assests the game uses to display the game world. If one of them become corrupt, yhou usually start to experience major issues. I've never had a .hogg file go corupt on either of the two machines I use for STO (and I've been playing since closed beta back in October 2009); but it can happen from posts I've read on the the STO Tech support forums.
Has anyone had any problems with the featured episodes? At some point during the mission my computer just turns off. It only happens when I'm playing STO and only then when I'm playing an episode mission.
My computer turned off twice while finishing the last Breen episode mission and then just now while I was escaping the hidden Tal Shiar base.

It typically only happens if you have something catastrophic happen such as a bluescreen or a power loss while playing, and even then only in certain circumstances. The one time it happened to me, my video board had moved due to heat and vibration and was corrupting memory and caused a bluescreen. Reseating the video board corrected the memory problem, and deleting the .hogg files allowed correction of the STO problem.
It sounds like you might have a Power Supply issue, or an overheating issue with your components. STO does make use of computer hardware to its fullest, so that can cause more demand on the PSU, or more heat generation. The fact it happens during a FE series episode just underscores the above as the FE series episodes are where the Devs really try to push the game engine to its maximum.

He's got ancient graphics drivers and refuses to update them. From the sound of it, he's probably not able to let his computer connect to Microsoft for validation. I leave possible reasons why that might be so as an exercise for the reader.
