Any news on what the reward will be for this set of episodes? Like how the defari missions gave you a breen bridge officer.

So it looks like my beloved TMP uniform (singular is a bit worrying) is in final testing and they are beta testing a tool for player-created adventures! That sounds like fun!

I'm hoping for TOS ship interiours... but try not to expect too much.

That's actually not all that preposterous, since the previews of the upcoming episodes imply at least one mission may have those interiors...

Yup, that's why I'm letting myself hope a little bit. :techman:

That would be a pity as they don't interest me all that much. I think I'd rather have something else.

BTW can you transfer unassigned BOs between characters? Lex doesn't have much use for a Breen, but Foxton has lots of space.

you can sell them on the exchange, at least you used to... so I assume, yes...

Not looking to sell. Lex completed the series in time, but doesn't have space, while my other character Foxton didn't do it, but I could use the Breen officer on her ship.

You might try the mail terminal at ESD. But before flying all the way there, I'd check to see if the breen is a BOP. If it is, then no. And you wouldn't be able to sell it either.

Has the game improved since launch? I played for about 2-3 months when it first came out and the game had a host of problems (my shorthand for that "unfinished").
Have some of the problems been addressed by now?
I should probably be more specific about the problems I remember: lack of content, repetitive mission design, unbalanced PVP, bad documentation, no exploration.
I remember liking: sounds, graphics, ship combat.

So, how are things now?

Personally, I'd say they have added a great deal of content since launch. Not sure how much on the klingon side, which still saddens me...

It saddens the new folks running the show, too; it's one of the things they're working in. Both Dan Stahl (the new executive producer) and Gozer (the guy now in charge of Missions, who had previously been one among many mission designers, left the company, and has now come back) are big Klingon fans, and all the new Weekly content is cross-faction. Additionally, Gozer is going over all the old stuff to see what can be made cross-faction easily and what would take more work.

Yeah, I've always been a big fan of the Klingons (as you can probably tell by my avatar). So I've been looking forward to more Klingon content.

The game sounds great, even great enough to subscribe to it, but one of the problems that still annoys me is for example the cryptic store. Why goddamnit why did they had to make it.

Yeah, a lot of people have an issue with the cryptic store. But I dunno, it doesn't seem that bad to me.

For the most part, it doesn't really impact the game itself. Sure, the new races have racial traits, but as I'm sure anyone can tell you these racial traits don't make a damn bit of difference. They are so minor, that they might as well not be there.

Bridge and ship skins are cosmetic, no effect on game play.

These pets they have now, I don't honestly know if they do anything or not. Haven't looked at them.

So, to me, it's not all that different from the things Blizzard allows you to buy with cash for WoW.

But thats just my opinion, and to each their own.

You could play one of the MMORPGs that doesn't have some kind of microtransaction for something. I understand there's still one that doesn't. Better hurry though, they're adding it too.

Epsilon Eridani sector, the Neutral Zone. The only other place than Deferi space where both factions can go...

EDIT: Er, I mean ETA Eridani, sorry for the typo.
