Anyone notice in the Sol system some sort of weird anomaly in the system? You can fly right through it no problem...but its certainly out of place.

Are you talking about the Aenigma Nebula? That's the portal to the Captain's Table. Currently only Lifetimers can access it; access will also be part of the 400 day Veteran's rewards, but nobody has hit 400 yet.
Yeah, we just kinda took it easy and worked it slowly. Figured we might have at least one fall in the plasma at the end, but did it cleanly in one shot, which was pretty impressive. Been in that room probably 5-6 times, and couldn't get people to not be retarded long enough to ever finish it...
We'll have to set up more of these STFs as a group, that was much more enjoyable than trying my luck with randoms...

I agree. Although I won't be able to make it this Sunday, I hope we can plan a day to get a 5 man crew together to tackle "The Cure".
I guess most people will be busy with the anniversary event starting this week anyway. And the new mission on saturday.

What's the patch for?
A lot of stuff, including implementing the new Earth SpaceDock.
And the Delta Flyer in the C-store (will be craftable in game), and probably some prep for the 1 year anniversary.... which includes new featured episodes, some Foundry missions, and other goodies.
know any details on the "a lot of stuff" portion of the statement? Curious to see what's changing, other than window-dressing Spacedock. Cool to change the look to match what they probably should have done to begin with, but more interested in functional changes to the game, adding maps/missions/etc rather than 'kewl' graphics...

If it's anything like on Tribble the patch will be the following:-
The Vulcan science ship
Adjustments to certain skills (tactical team for example now fast auto redistributes the shields to strengthen the side being attacked)
Preparation for the Romulan missions
An update to the runabout, giving it a tractor beam special skill.
Another flyable shuttle
Anniversary celebration type stuff
However, it's not a season type update, so no major gameplay changes yet.
Are there any timed Anniversary events for tomorrow?
Should be, from what I've been told it accidentally set off on Tribble.
