Is there any new data on the system requirements to run the game?

I thought that the beta tesing was summer of this year?
They are still actively working on it though right? Or is it in development limbo?
Another question I have is will it be Mac compatible? I would imagine so since it's an online game, but the thing is that I'm looking into buying an iMac, but compatibility could very well be a deal breaker in this case.

There definetly still working on it. Although it's been a few months since we've had any news.

No news is not good news. The more they drag their feet on this game the less likely it will see our computer screens, due to developmental cost over runs.
Why? Putting out progress reports take time; and it's time that would better be spent DEVELOPING the actual game. Given they even used the site as an advertisement for development talent, they may still be expanding the Dev Team; and have yet to hire a full time PR person yet.
But, either way, I'm sure we'll hear something in the next few months one way or the other. I would LOVE to have a good Sci Fi MMO to play (Anarchy On-Line and SWG both sucked hard, and I was in the beta test for both).
Personally, I'm VERY dubious that they can create an MMO that will capture the actual feel of Star Trek given how MMO players usually act. (myself included at times).
I agree that it will be very difficult, but will reserve judgement until I play the game.
