This giveaway is all about Picard.

With the T6 ships, I'm gonna wait and see what they are look like. Currently I have the dreadnaught for both my fed characters, as that was a cheap way to get a level 50 ship. Works well for my eng and tac toons. I'll probably look at getting tac T6 ship, and upgrade the dreadnaught.

Yep, another 'special reward weekend' I can skip. And the big reward finale is the T5 Ambassador that they gave me almost 2 years ago? Gee, thanks. Special bonus for giving us a T5 ship right before T5 ships become obsolete and cost money to upgrade. Gotta make sure everyone has another ship to spend money fixing, I suppose..

The difference to the free version of the 3 year anniversary is, that this time claiming it will unlock it account wide.
If anything this will become a free and pretty powerful and versatile T5 ship for any future toon, even if it will not be an end game ship anymore.

Yup, Cryptic's making sure everyone has access to a free T5 ship now that the money makers will be shifting to T5-U and T6 ships. Its pretty clear now that they want us to spend money upgrading to T5-U ships on launch of Delta Rising, then over the next 2-3 years slowly releasing new T6 ships which we'll want to spend even more money on.

They've included the T5 Ambassador in the giveaway because it is not eligible for an upgrade.

I did buy a Fleet D'deridex once the shipyard hit T4. Because I feel like the upgraded ships will be perfectly fine if you are skilled, I plan on upgrading it and well, I want to fly my favorite ship in Trek. And aside from that, it only cost me EC to get the module for it. Big whoop.

And that T6 Fed escort looks like a more advanced version of the Gallant skin.

I missed the TNG Season One uniform giveaway. However, I just got my Galaxy bridge....and looking forward to the other giveaways coming up for my Fed toons: "All Good Things" costume pack, and the Ambassador-class Retrofit...

Finally, after EIGHT freaking months of disconnects and lag... Cryptic has finally bugged Cogent enough times for them to fix their router issues. I've gone from failing to login 9 out of 10 times to the good old zippy connections I used to have in past years.

Well they did say you only need a T6 or T5-U ship for the high end endgame stuff.

So either some kind of special harder que event or that nightmare difficulty level thats been occasionally mentioned.

Cryptic announced the Delta Rising Operations pack, which you can buy now. It contains the tier 6 ships, 3 tier 5 upgrade tokens, and 3 new Intelligence Bridge officers.
