You are right. I should have said $6 for joined trills, caitians and feresans. And just announced in a new tribble patch note, Cardassians will have to be purchased too.

the CM implied there might be multiple ways to unlock them.

Maybe via the Gamma Rep like the Remans were with the romulan Rep

Either way I have 1000 zen saved up from my monthly lifetime stipend so I won’t need to spend any money

Decided to see the new DS9, as everyone now can access tribble. Anyways, looks fantastic. Looks like it was on the show.

Plus, did the first mission for the Jem'Hadar - thinking Engineering at the moment. Gonna need to craft some new beams to use for the bug ship, until I decide if I'll buy a ship or not.

The latest tribble patch also updated DS9 Ops.

They must have finished some other stuff early, because Ops was a stretch goal, not a guaranteed thing for launch.

I'm most probably going to create an Eng Jem'Hadar. For the second character, I'm can't decide between a Caitian and a Cardassian.

So the game is down for Victory is Life. The old DS9 is gone as a social zone, and in a few hours the new DS9 shall be there, and many other things. I had a bit of fun tonight being an idiot on DS9. I got to seat in the Captain's chair, before Kurland is positioned in his office.

Already logged in and started my Jem'Hadar. Already got a few toons to level 61 via just admiralty, already decided to get the galaxy refit for most fed toons, as that has the saucer seperation console, which I will be used on my main later which will be awesome with the Fleet Yamato that I'm using at the moment.

So, ViL lured me back but I got stuck almost immediately with a bug on "Renegade's Regret" where I can't talk to the Tzenkethi captain... STO forums are as useful as 2 pieces of toilet paper after an Ex-Lax so can anyone here offer advice?

Yep - Found the bug. Not sure it has been reported, but I'm gonna check and report it again.

So this is the first STO expansion I've tried at launch -- usually I get around to them a month or so after the fact -- and to be brutally honest, in my nearly 20 years of playing MMOs, I haven't seen a major patch/expansion release with this many bugs.

Are they always this bad?

I haven't had any major issues personally.
